when i got back from phoenix, i heard baby birds chirping and tweeting like crazy on my front porch. so i grabbed my camera and mommy ran away to a nearby tree to keep an eye on her babies.
and the babies pretended to be asleep to stay out of trouble. it was cute.

i got another dog today. i found a Queensland Heeler and a Beagle mix. that other guy that i was talking about, yeah, we saw him. out of all the dogs there, let's just say he was the onlyone snarling and growling at us. fucking fantastic.
anyway, Bug Bear is still trying to accept him. he's not as playful as i had hoped. he's also not as happy to share a human like my Booger is. he growls and snarls a deep nasty snarl when she's close by him or me. he won't leave my side. i don't have enough heart to give him back to the pound (at least this soon,) if it becomes a problem, and i don't have the heart to give her away EVER (under any circumstances.) so i guess they're just stuck together and they'll just have to get along.. he and i and he and Ethan still have bonding to do anyway, so we'll see how this goes.
He's three years old. His name is Irish. (i didn't name him that, that was his name when he was dropped off.)
later, i found a four foot tall bong in my garage today.
looks kinda ghetto-fixed, like at one point it looked prettier until it broke and someone decided to use some hardcore apoxy glue or something.
